
MARIA-CHRISTINA OLIVERAS is a New York-based stage, television and film actor and singer. Originally from the Bronx, NY, she received her B.A. with honors from Yale University and her M.F.A. in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory. She also is an alumna of the NYSF/Public Theatre Shakespeare Lab.

Her television credits include Ugly Betty, Nurse Jackie, All My Children and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She will be seen as Maria Sanchez in the upcoming feature film, VAMPERIFICA (2011 release), directed by Bruce Ornstein.
Maria-Christina is dedicated to developing and nurturing new work, and is a proud member of the Packawallop's The Pack, Partial Comfort Productions, the Lark Playground and NYU's First Look Company.
She has also served as a mentor and teaching artist for Greenwich Village Youth Council, Step Up Women's Network and Children's Aid Society, working with young artists in Harlem, the Village and Washington Heights. She has guest lectured at Coppin State, Morgan State, and University of Colorado-Boulder.
Maria-Christina is an avid yogi (power-vinyasa style), amateur kickboxer, clarinetist and pianist, NPR junkie, and lover of languages and etymologies.
